A delegation from our union, together with a delegation from the Labor Center of Patras, following a meeting request we had sent to the Ministry of Migration and Asylum — which was accepted — met on Wednesday, October 15, with the Secretary General for Migration Policy, Mr. Manos Logothetis. We delivered a memorandum with our long-standing demands concerning the living, hygiene, safety, and working conditions of migrant farm workers.
Mr. Logothetis committed to providing us with a written response within a week of the meeting, after consulting with the other ministries.
