The major initiative of solidarity with the migrant farm workers of Nea Manolada, who were affected by the devastating fire in their camp on May 13, launched by the Union of Workers in the Production, Cultivation, Standardization, and Packaging of Food and Beverages of Western Achaia – Andravida – Kyllini, was supported by the Union of Hospital Doctors of Achaia through financial assistance. A similar action was also taken by the Labor Center of Kefalonia – Ithaca, contributing to the initiative.
The Union, together with the Patras Labor Center, welcomes the actions and response of the trade union bodies.
